
Integrity Software Solutions began its provision of database consultancy services in April 1998, when it was awarded a prestigious contract by ICL to participate in the Pathway/Horizon project along with many other businesses.
ICL's challenge was to automate the post office counter operations and integrate the post office with the Department of Social Security benefit payment system. The aim being to allow benefits to be collected over the counter using smart cards, and significantly improve productivity within post offices nationally.
We were involved with multiple stages of the software engineering lifecycle in the production of data processing components to control the flow of data between different systems. This contribution to the project, along with the maintenance of data processing integration and aggression testing environments, earned us a Bronze and a Silver award for excellence.
