Liverpool Victoria, the UK's largest Friendly Society – which manages more than £8 billion on behalf of its members, asked us to provide technical and business analysis, project management and applications enhancements. An analysis was conducted of existing server infrastructure and business applications and detailed plans were prepared to move a wide range of in-house and vendor provided applications into new server environments.

As part of the project we improved performance and stability of business applications by designing and implementing enhancements to database systems. This ensured individual applications would not impact on other live systems. Support was provided on a wide range of industry applications, both vendor provided and in-house developed software systems.
It was crucial that the clients' business requirements were implemented in line with FSA guidelines. To meet these requirements database issues were investigated and reporting systems were enhanced to improve performance and make additional information available to enrich decision making processes.
We provided consultancy to help the business resolve ongoing issues, implement best practices to ensure the stability and availability of data and implement solutions to assist in maintaining the stability of database and operating systems.
